Searching Cases by Name
Search ARCourts is the statewide public case-information portal. Participant mode takes a first, middle, and last name, or an organization description. Start small. The fewest reliable fields work best. A court-entered middle initial, suffix, or organization name may differ from yours and hide the match you want.
For an organization, official tips allow one or two key words in the Last Name field. Use that trick when the full court-entered form is unclear. Then narrow to Greene County or a specific court location. Before opening a case, check the style, court, filing date, and party role.
- Select Participants under “Search by.”
- Enter the most exact name terms available.
- Open Detail and choose Greene County or the relevant court location.
- Submit the search and filter the result columns.
- Open the matching case detail and verify the full header.
| Field | Use | Format or limit |
|---|---|---|
| First Name | Participant search | Use the court-entered form when known |
| Middle Name | Optional narrowing | May be blank or an initial |
| Last Name | Person or organization key words | One or two organization words can help |
| Organization or Case Description | Business or styled matter | Exact entry may matter |
| County Name | Statewide filter | Select Greene |
| Court Location | Court-level filter | Choose the matching Circuit or District location |
Greene County Case Search ARCourts
The Search ARCourts interface is the starting point for a Greene County case search, as its public pages show.

The public interface opens with participant search and adds filters through Detail. Official training also documents case, judgment, and event-oriented searches. Labels may change during the 2026 rollout, though. Result grids sort by column and filter within loaded results. They display 25, 50, or 100 rows per page. Row count matters for a common name. Filter before paging. Compare court locations rather than assuming the first result belongs to Greene County.
Searching by Case Number
Start with the case number. It is the quickest key for a Greene County case lookup. It cuts down wrong matches. Copy every character exactly as it appears on your notice, citation, pleading, or an earlier docket search result. Greene County circuit cases carry the county code 28. So a case number may look like 28CR-25-.... Arkansas reference materials list generic Circuit and District number forms too. Still, no official Greene codebook lets you build a number yourself.
In Cases mode, the portal takes either a case number or a citation number. When you can pick filters, set County to GREENE and choose the right Court Location. District traffic records in Greene County use GREENE COUNTY as the documented location. A District appeal can later spawn a Circuit record with its own number. When that happens, run a docket search on both numbers. That way the full procedural history shows up.
Small punctuation changes can break a match. Keep the hyphens and letters just as filed. Never guess at a code from a filing year or sequence count.
Greene County Case Search Filters
Advanced fields can shrink a big statewide result set. Date of Birth and Driver's License Number sit in the participant detail controls, but they only work when the court tied the value to the party. Anyone tracking their own case should skip sensitive details unless truly needed. County and court location are usually the smarter first filters.
| Control | Greene search use | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Search by | Choose participant, case, or other available mode | Modes may evolve |
| County Name | Narrow to Greene County | Avoid broad statewide matches |
| Court Location | Separate Circuit and District records | District uses GREENE COUNTY |
| Results filter | Reduce loaded common-name rows | Applied by column |
| Rows per page | Show 25, 50, or 100 results | 25 is the documented default |
Date inputs follow MM/DD/YYYY, per official guidance. Where a historic range is required, the forms reject future dates.
What a Case Search Returns
A search result is a public subset of the court record, not the whole file. It can mix the header, participants, events, settings, charges or civil claims, disposition, and selected financial data. A document link shows up only when the document and permission settings allow it.
| Case header | Number, style, filing date and type, court, location, and status. |
|---|---|
| Participants | Names or organizations, party roles, and representation when entered. |
| Events | Filing or court-event date and description, including settings. |
| Case detail | Criminal charges and sentences or civil claims and judgments, as available. |
| Documents | Permission-dependent links; an event can exist without a public image. |
| Financials | Assessment, payment, or balance fields in some lower-court matters. |
Search ARCourts labels its output as case information, not an official court record, so the clerk's record controls.
Greene County Case Search Portals
Three Arkansas systems can surface in one search, and each has a different job. Search ARCourts is the current public case-information layer. Legacy Public CourtConnect keeps an older interface during migration. Arkansas eFlex mainly serves registered filers, parties, and counsel. It is not aimed at the public docket. The legacy Public CourtConnect address still hosts that older system.

Use the legacy route only when redirected or when migrated data is missing. A legacy bookmark should not replace the new portal as the first stop. The Arkansas Judiciary online-services index separates case search, eFiling, eTraffic, and other services.

That service map keeps a payment or filing login from being mistaken for a complete Greene County case search.
Statewide vs County Case Search
Search ARCourts covers the whole state, but Greene County clerks keep the local files. The portal earns its keep for finding a case number and a public event trail. For a maintained document, certification, an older file, or a record with unclear online status, go to the clerk.
| Route | Strength | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Search ARCourts | Free statewide index and case detail | Not every case or PDF is available |
| Circuit Clerk | Circuit civil, criminal, domestic, and authorized juvenile files | Copy charges and access rules apply |
| District Clerk | Misdemeanor, traffic, district civil, and small claims | Separate office and payment rules |
| Legacy CourtConnect | Fallback for some nonmigrated data | Being retired during 2026 |
Federal litigation is different. Use PACER and the Eastern District of Arkansas system, since federal cases never appear in Search ARCourts.
Greene County Case Search Fallback
A blank result does not mean no Greene County case exists. Try the exact number, alternate spellings, fewer name fields, and the other court level. A matter may have begun in District Court and later moved to Circuit Court. During migration, older data can still live in the legacy system.
If the record still eludes you, call the proper clerk. Have the approximate year, participant or organization name, and case type ready. The Circuit Clerk is 870-239-6330. The District Clerk is 870-239-7507. No official Greene source publishes a complete online coverage start year, a guaranteed public terminal, or a set turnaround. That applies to archived searches too.
Missing link, not missing filing: An absent document button can reflect access settings even when the docket event confirms that the filing was entered.
Greene County Case Search Events
Need a Greene County hearing date? The clerk posts no standalone daily calendar, so case events are the working route. Read the newest event first. Then look for a reset, continuance, or cancellation that changed it. Two cautions apply. The filing date never equals the hearing date, and an old event can linger in the docket after a new setting replaces it.
- Case detail
- The portal view combining header, people, events, and available outcomes.
- Setting
- A scheduled court event that may later move.
- Order
- The judge's signed direction or decision.
- Disposition
- The recorded case or charge outcome.
- Certified copy
- The clerk-authenticated reproduction used as an official copy.
If a Greene County docket lists two future settings, call the clerk to confirm which court date still stands. The Greene County court calendar page walks through the right office to contact.
Access and Restricted Cases
Access rules come from Arkansas Administrative Orders 19 and 19.1, which also drive redaction. What you see in public results leaves out protected identifiers. Anything made confidential by law or court order stays out too. Sealed criminal records may be missing or trimmed in a Greene County case lookup. The same goes for adoption or dependency-neglect files.
Juvenile records are a special case. Greene County keeps them closed except to a few groups. That means attorneys of record and involved government agencies. A Circuit Judge's signed order also opens the door. The clerk can tell you whether a missing result is offline or legally restricted. Protected details, though, stay sealed without authorization.
One more warning. The Arkansas Judiciary never sends unsolicited text messages. Delete anything suspicious and skip its links. A real Greene County case search starts at the official judiciary URL or through the court office. It never comes from an unexpected text.
Greene County Case Search Channels
A Greene County case search runs through several official channels. Search ARCourts is the statewide public index. Older material that has not migrated may still sit in Legacy Public CourtConnect. For circuit civil, criminal, domestic, and authorized juvenile files, call the Circuit Clerk at 870-239-6330. Misdemeanors, traffic, district civil, and small claims belong to the District Clerk at 870-239-7507. A future Circuit setting may also need a nod from the assigned judge's coordinator.
Gather a few facts before requesting copies in person. You will want the court level and the exact case number. Bring the party or organization name and the rough year too. Note the document or event you want. Greene County publishes no universal case-copy email form and no public-terminal guarantee. There is no online coverage date and no set turnaround. Unclear probate custody? Check with both the Circuit Clerk and County Clerk. These fallbacks keep a court docket search alive. They matter when a portal result is thin, stale, or down.
Greene County Case Search Grid
Paging through a common name wastes time. Filter the results grid first. Sort by court, case number, or any column that helps.
Page-size controls offer 25 rows by default, or 50 and 100 for bigger views.
Greene County Case Search Alerts
The Arkansas Judiciary does not send unsolicited texts. Delete a suspicious case text without opening its links. If a message claims urgent court action, start at the official portal address or call the Greene County clerk instead.
