Find Greene County Traffic Records

Start with the ticket itself. Greene County traffic court records are kept at the District Court, where each citation becomes a case with its own court dates and file entries. A lookup can begin from the citation number or from the statewide case system. When a ticket has not posted yet, a setting has shifted, or a certified copy is required, the court clerk is the office to call. Paying a fine and contesting a charge take a case down two different roads, so the printed instructions on the citation should guide the next move. Keep one boundary in mind: the court file is separate from the state licensing file on the driver services side.

Traffic Court Records in Greene County

Traffic citations in Greene County land in State District Court. That court also handles misdemeanors, ordinance violations, district civil matters, and small claims. The Arkansas Judiciary currently lists two departments: Paragould and Marmaduke. Any agency or town can write the ticket. There is still no separate statewide search spot for it. In Search ARCourts, actually, the district location filter there is GREENE COUNTY.

The District Court Clerk keeps this lower-court record stream. A traffic case file can show the citation or charge, court events, a plea, settings, the disposition, a sentence, and fine entries. Felonies and appeals from District Court move up to Circuit Court. That court builds its own record. The split matters once a case runs past its first District Court ending.

Greene County Traffic Court Desk

The main District Court counter sits in the Greene County Courthouse at 320 West Court Street, Paragould. Ask for Room 227. Chief Clerk Alissa Yates answers at 870-239-7507, and the fax line is 870-239-7506. Need the District Judge's office? That number is 870-565-1779. For Marmaduke, the published clerk number is 870-597-2753. The directory there lists PO Box 208, Marmaduke, AR 72443.

The official Greene County District Clerk page lays out the traffic jurisdiction. It also covers contact routes, payment methods, and local limits for this office.

Direct docket questions to the records number. A payment match from a vendor cannot answer questions about a setting or how a case stands.

How to Look Up a Traffic Ticket

Search ARCourts is the public statewide case-information route. Begin in Cases mode. That mode accepts a case number or a citation number. Applying the county and court filters cuts out unrelated results from around the state. If the ticket is not at hand, a participant search works as a fallback. Name variation can make it less precise.

  1. Read the citation for its number, court department, appearance instruction, and any response date.
  2. Choose Cases in Search ARCourts and enter the exact case or citation number without inventing a format.
  3. Add County GREENE, Court Location GREENE COUNTY, and Case Type TRAFFIC as needed.
  4. If there is no match, try the participant fields and check the legacy portal only when the Judiciary redirects older data there.
  5. Call the Paragould or Marmaduke clerk, or visit the proper counter, if the case is new, absent, unclear, or needs an official copy.

Search ARCourts and the clerk are the record channels for a docket. MyFinePayment is only a payment channel, so it should never stand in for a full Greene County traffic court records search.

The statewide form offers several ways to narrow a Greene County traffic record. Exact field choices may shift during the rollout of the statewide system. The official materials describe the controls the form provides.

Skip the extra personal identifiers. A citation number paired with the court filter usually beats a broad name search for a cleaner result.

Finding Your Traffic Court Date

The first place to find a court date is the citation itself. The appearance instruction printed there sets the starting point. Search ARCourts may then list an event date, time, description, and court location. A reset, continuance, or cancellation can leave the old event sitting in the history, so the newest line is not always the live setting. When the record looks unclear, confirm the current event with the District Clerk.

The court posts no standalone daily docket PDF or public calendar for Greene County. Use the portal first, then the District Clerk, then the judge's office for a setting staff must confirm. There is no standing remote-appearance link.

Greene County Traffic Court Sessions

Older administrative material mentioned a fourth-Wednesday session at Marmaduke. The judge has changed since then, so treat that schedule as history rather than a current court calendar. Neither Greene County department publishes a daily online docket. For today's setting, the ticket, the current Search ARCourts event, and direct clerk confirmation are the supported sources.

Greene County Traffic Payment Portal

Greene County links to MyFinePayment for online fine payments. The county also publishes 877-591-8768 as the telephone payment route. The vendor can accept payment on a matched matter. It is not, however, a full case-detail system. Filings, settings, pleas, dispositions, and later orders in the court file may not appear there at all.

The county-linked MyFinePayment service provides the payment interface eligible Greene County traffic cases use.

A payment confirmation proves a transaction. It is not a certified traffic court record, and it does not promise an appearance is cancelled.

Paying or Contesting a Ticket

Paying and contesting are different case choices. The local page publishes no single appearance deadline, fine schedule, deferred-disposition fee, or driving-course rule. Follow the citation. Anyone who wants to contest should ask the District Clerk how to enter a plea and get a hearing. Do that before sending money, because a payment can count as a plea or another case action.

Paying the citationContesting the citation
Follow the ticket and confirm that payment is permitted without appearing.Contact the named court for the plea and hearing process before paying.
Use money order, cashier's check, debit card, or the approved online or phone route.Keep the citation and note the court, response instruction, and any setting given by staff.
Ask how the transaction will appear in the case and retain the receipt.Confirm the hearing date and later changes in the court record or with the clerk.

Failure to appear: Missing a required setting can add a failure-to-appear event, extra charge or cost, warrant, and a possible state licensing consequence. Resolve the matter with the District Clerk rather than paying only the original fine online.

Greene County Traffic Payment Rules

Money orders, cashier's checks, and debit cards are what the District Clerk takes for fines. Debit comes with a published 4.7 percent processing charge. Cash is out, and so are personal checks. Copy, certification, civil, small-claims, and criminal-history record fees must go by money order or cashier's check.

The citation amount and the fee are not the same thing. Court costs and later assessments get added to the fine. The exact total sits in the court's record. When the ticket is smudged or the portal returns no match, phone the clerk first. An appearance might still be required. Call before you mail anything.

Note: Paying does not wipe out a Greene County court date. Not unless the citation or the District Court says so in plain words.

Court Traffic Record vs Driver Record

A traffic ticket creates two separate paper trails. The Greene County District Court docket holds the court case itself: the citation, the charge, hearings, the plea, and the sentence with any fine. Your driving record is a different file. The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration Driver Services keeps that one, and conviction data reaches it only after courts report it.

Kept by the District Court Clerk and found through Search ARCourts or a clerk request.
State driving record
Kept by Arkansas DFA Driver Services, not by the Greene County court clerk.
Certified court copy
Issued by the court custodian when an authenticated case record is needed.

The official Arkansas Driver Services page represents the separate state custodian in this comparison.

A case lookup and a driver-record request answer two different questions. Here the subject is the court case that the citation opened.

Greene County Traffic Court Departments

Greene County State District Court publishes two departments: Paragould and Marmaduke. The judge's office and the main clerk counter sit in Paragould. Marmaduke lists its own clerk contact and mailing address. The clerk posts no counter hours. No standalone online calendar exists either. A quick call beats a wasted trip to Marmaduke.

Oak Grove Heights works through an interlocal arrangement with the Greene County-Paragould District Court. It covers town ordinance and state offenses. ARCourts still files that division under the county district location, so search there. Lafe and Delaplaine list no department or portal of their own. Route their tickets by what the citation says, then confirm with the Paragould District Clerk.

Fees and Copies

The local District Court page posts no plain-copy price, certification amount, record-search charge, or traffic abstract fee. It does say which payment forms cover copy and certification charges. So the fee table marks those amounts unknown. Borrowing Circuit Clerk prices would just mislead you.

Ask the department that holds the traffic record. Give the exact citation or case number. Name the document, say whether you need it plain or certified, and confirm delivery before you buy a money order.

Greene County Traffic Court Missing Cases

A fresh ticket often has not reached the online docket yet. Older cases can still live in a legacy system. Names get keyed oddly. The wrong court location hides matches. Start with the citation number. Set the location to GREENE COUNTY, and only then try participant fields. Still nothing? Call the department printed on the ticket.

No official Greene County source promises a fixed posting delay. Hold onto the citation, because a missing online match never replaces its instructions. Clerk staff can tell you whether the case awaits entry, sits under another key, belongs to a different department, or needs a direct record request.
